ANZLAA donates to Wildlife Victoria
As more stories emerge from the tragedy in Victoria, it is becoming clear that many members and friends of ANZLAA have been affected either directly or indirectly. Since we are an organisation dedicated to animal welfare, we have decided to support a charity providing assistance to animals injured in the fires.
Therefore a donation has been made to Wildlife Victoria on behalf of ANZLAA. Although there are many organisations deserving of support at this time, we selected Wildlife Victoria because their desperate need of resources has been compounded by the destruction of at least two animal shelters.
Our donation will help Wildlife Victoria volunteers search through burnt regions, supply medical equipment and supplies to carers who are looking after the injured wildlife and help them put food out for surviving wildlife whose source has been burnt by the fires.
We encourage all members to donate.
